Daytime running lights on the cheap
Research figures from the EU suggest that motorists could help prevent around 2,000 road deaths each year with the use of Daytime Running Lamps. Studies have shown, that not seeing other road users plays a role in 50% of daytime accidents. Dedicated Daytime Running Lights are special lamps which are automatically switched on when the engine is started. From January 2011 all new passenger and light commercial vehicles will have to have Daytime Running Lamps fitted. Motorists dona€™t have to wait till next year, they can get the modern look now with Ring Automotivea€™s range of Daytime Running Lamps. The slim compact design enables the lamps to be fitted discreetly to most cars. With a fitting kit and simple to follow instruction, the lamps can generally be fitted within an hour depending on the vehicle.
